About the Role

As a seasoned engineering professional, you have the opportunity to lead exciting solar farm projects on both the East & West Coast. Your primary responsibility will be managing and delivering large-scale solar projects, ensuring they are completed on time, to the highest quality standards.

This is your chance to make a real impact as a key player in our team. You'll take on a leadership role, manage diverse teams, and work on long-term, high-profile projects that contribute to Australia's clean energy future.

  • Project Planning and Execution: Lead project planning, execution, and delivery from initial design to final commissioning.
  • Resource Management: Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources to ensure smooth progress.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with a talented team of engineers, stakeholders, and contractors for seamless project execution.
  • Risk Management: Identify, manage, and mitigate project risks to maintain smooth progress.
  • Leadership and Mentorship: Provide leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and site teams to help them develop their skills.
  • Compliance: Oversee compliance with Australian Standards, safety regulations, and environmental requirements.
  • Progress Review: Regularly review progress and report updates to senior management to ensure all deliverables are met.
  • Innovation: Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement to encourage creative solutions and new ideas.
About You

To succeed in this challenging role, you should possess;

  • A Bachelor's degree in Engineering (preferably Civil).
  • At least 5 years of experience in a Project Engineering role, with 2+ years in a leadership capacity.
  • A strong background in renewable energy projects, particularly solar farms.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills to engage stakeholders and guide teams to success.
  • Ability to solve complex engineering challenges and deliver results under pressure.
  • A passion for the environment and renewable energy solutions.
