Electrical Specialist

This is a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced technical environment and contribute to the success of our operations.

The role involves providing electrical engineering expertise, conducting inspections and assessments, and collaborating with colleagues to deliver excellent results.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Qualifications in Electrical Engineering
  • At least 3 years experience in an Electro Technical role in the Marine sector
  • Experience with Bulk Carriers advantageous
  • Excellent analytical skills and problem-solving abilities
  • Conversant with local rules, regulations and terminal operations
  • Australian Citizen/Australian Resident/Australian Work Visa Holder
  • Valid Driver's Licence
  • Ability to pass Medical/Drug and alcohol tests

The key responsibilities include:

  • Consulting on electrical systems and equipment
  • Testing, calibration and repair of marine electronic devices
  • Estimating material costs and quantities for marine electronics
  • Inspections and audits of marine electronic equipment
  • Procurement and supply chain management
  • Collaboration with clients and stakeholders
  • Reporting and documentation
