We are seeking a highly skilled Transport Planner to lead project delivery and management for transport planning and assessment projects. The successful candidate will provide technical guidance on large strategic consulting and design projects, driving business development and identifying opportunities.
The role involves leading the growth of our Perth office, managing the Integrated Transport & Mobility team, and mentoring junior resources. A working knowledge of the local environment and Western Australian transport sector is essential, as is experience in project management of studies, assessments, and other technical activities in a commercial environment.
- A strong understanding of transport planning concepts and tasks, including interfaces between transport planning, traffic engineering, transport modelling, and infrastructure design.
- Lead project delivery and management for transport planning and assessment projects.
- Drive business development, identify opportunities, and support the winning of projects.
- Manage the Integrated Transport & Mobility team, including team development, growth, and building technical capability in transport planning.
- Mentor and develop junior resources.
- Effective communication, commercial awareness, and business development skills.
- Working knowledge of the local environment and Western Australian transport sector.
- Knowledge and application of transport planning concepts and tasks.
- Understanding of the interfaces between transport planning, traffic engineering, transport modelling, and infrastructure design.
- Experience in project management of studies, assessments, and other technical activities in a commercial environment.
