Army Lawyer

The Australian Army is currently seeking talented and ambitious individuals to join its legal team as lawyers. In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills in a dynamic and challenging environment.

As a lawyer in the Australian Army, you will be responsible for providing expert legal advice to support the delivery of military operations and the protection of Defence interests.

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

You will also need to be able to work effectively in a team environment and demonstrate adaptability and resilience in a fast-paced and ever-changing context.

• Provide expert legal advice to support the delivery of military operations and the protection of Defence interests.
• Develop and implement legal strategies to achieve organisational objectives.
• Conduct research and analysis on complex legal issues.
• Collaborate with other stakeholders to identify and resolve legal issues.

• Admitted as a Barrister and/or Solicitor of the High Court of Australia or Supreme Court of a State or Territory of Australia.
• Australian citizen with the ability to obtain security clearance.
