We are seeking a highly skilled professional to provide expert speech pathology services to patients across the healthcare continuum. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.


About the Role:
  • Provide high-quality speech pathology services to adult and paediatric patients, ensuring efficient and effective care delivery.
  • Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment, prioritising referrals and managing workload requirements in a timely manner.
  • Showcase clinical leadership skills by providing guidance and support to Speech Pathology support staff and contributing to the development of students.

Clinical Expertise: A demonstrated base-level knowledge and skills in managing adult and paediatric speech pathology clients, with a commitment to evidence-based practice.


Communication: Excellent communication skills, including the ability to communicate complex information effectively and build strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.


Operational Management: Strong organisational skills, with the ability to self-manage a caseload, prioritise referrals, and achieve non-clinical workload requirements in a timely manner.


Leadership: Ability to provide guidance and support to Speech Pathology support staff, contribute to the development of students, and participate in quality improvement activities.


Quality Improvement: Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development, with a focus on improving patient outcomes and service delivery.


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Mandatory possession of a qualification as a Speech Pathologist from a registered tertiary institution.
  • Current membership or eligibility for membership with Speech Pathology Australia.
