Job Role Overview

As a Social Worker in Mental Health, you will play a vital role in providing compassionate and collaborative care to individuals experiencing mental health difficulties.

This dynamic position offers an excellent opportunity for Grade 2 and Grade 3 Social Workers with a working history in Mental Health to join our multidisciplinary team.

You will work closely with clients, families, and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality recovery-focused client care, promoting self-efficacy, independence, and social inclusion.

Responsibilities:
  • Caseload management and partake in daily team functions
  • Mental Health clinical experience and skills application
  • Intake duty role, multi-agency liaison, and crisis management

Additionally, you will have opportunities to develop your leadership and project management skills, attend relevant forums and conferences, and access Monash Health's in-house learning portals to enhance your knowledge base.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:

  • Relevant qualifications and demonstrated experience
  • Current practicing registration and Australian working rights
  • A valid Victorian Driver's Licence
