This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead, innovate, and mentor teams in developing systems approaches to HSE. You will provide expert advice and support to stakeholders across NSW/ACT as a Regional HSE Manager.

The ideal candidate will be experienced in complex infrastructure projects with a strong background in developing safety processes and compliance frameworks. They will have excellent communication skills and be able to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and support the development and implementation of systems approach to HSE
  • Provide accurate and timely HSE advice to stakeholders
  • Support key influencers in fostering and monitoring a positive HSE culture
  • Develop and implement HSE risk management processes
  • Monitor and measure HSE performance
  • Investigate and report on incidents and nonconformities
  • Implement knowledge collection and management processes for HSE outcomes

Required Qualifications:

  • Tertiary qualifications with an HSE focus preferred
  • Previous work experience in a similar industry or risk profile
  • In-depth experience in an HSE role
  • HSE technical skills (e.g. training, auditing, investigation)
