About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our culinary team as a Commis Chef. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for supporting the daily operational aspects of the kitchen and related venues, including conferences and events.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the kitchen team in maintaining high standards of food quality, presentation, and service.
- Support the preparation and presentation of dishes, including pizza dough and sauces.
- Operate the pizza oven and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Contribute to the development of new menu items and culinary concepts.
Requirements
- Trade qualification in culinary arts or equivalent experience.
- Ability to work varied shifts, including early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
