Cloud Infrastructure Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Infrastructure Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our cloud engineering group, you will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable, secure, and efficient cloud infrastructure solutions on the AWS platform.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to optimize AWS services for cost, performance, security, and reliability. This includes collaborating with senior leadership to align cloud strategies with organizational goals and partnering with product owners and developers to identify and assess security controls in line with PSPF, ISM, E8, and internal policies.

Your expertise will also be utilized to develop and test Proof of Concepts (PoCs) to evaluate tools and solutions before deployment in the cloud environment. Additionally, you will liaise with agencies to understand current architectures and incorporate them into future designs, including Zero Trust Architecture planning.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the implementation of CNAPP/SASE tooling across cloud platforms and work with Azure Active Directory and Azure AD Domain Services for integrated cloud identity solutions.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and architect AWS infrastructure solutions to meet technical and business needs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize AWS services for cost, performance, security, and reliability.
  • Engage with senior leadership to align cloud strategies with organizational goals.
  • Partner with product owners and developers to identify and assess security controls in line with PSPF, ISM, E8, and internal policies.
  • Contribute to the implementation of CNAPP/SASE tooling across cloud platforms.
  • Work with Azure Active Directory and Azure AD Domain Services for integrated cloud identity solutions.
  • Develop and test Proof of Concepts (PoCs) to evaluate tools and solutions before deployment in the cloud environment.
  • Liaise with agencies to understand current architectures and incorporate them into future designs, including Zero Trust Architecture planning.
  • Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in AWS architecture and engineering.
  • Strong understanding of cloud security frameworks and compliance standards.
  • Experience with Azure identity services and hybrid cloud environments.
  • Ability to work in high-security environments and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
  • Australian Citizenship with NV1 clearance or higher is mandatory.
