As a detail-oriented Asset Accountant, you will play a critical role in managing fixed and intangible asset transactions, ensuring accurate asset tracking and compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process asset additions, disposals, and transfers into the fixed asset register promptly
  • Perform period-end close procedures for assets, depreciation/amortisation, and accruals
  • Provide invoice coding and guidance for capital and maintenance purchases
  • Maintain period-end balance sheet reconciliations and resolve queries
  • Ensure integrity and accuracy of the fixed asset register
  • Collaborate with construction, property, and operational teams
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in accountancy or relevant field
  • Recently completed or ability to commence studying towards CPA/CA certification
  • Previous experience working within an Accounting /Asset Accounting environment
  • Advanced computer and MS skills, specifically within Excel
  • Demonstrated commercial experience (Highly desirable)
