**Job Overview:**

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to fill the role of ICT Contract and Procurement Officer.

This position involves working closely with various stakeholders to procure services and manage contracts, ensuring compliance with relevant policies and procedures.

The successful candidate will possess strong procurement and contract management skills, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

They will be responsible for preparing and collating information for statistical reports, verifying invoicing, and maintaining accurate filing systems.

In addition, they will provide support and advice to staff as required, and assist in coordinating and responding to queries from internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process purchase orders for the acquisition of services as required.
  • Assist in the planning and formation of low to medium risk IT project and operational contracts.
  • Consult with staff and provide support and advice as required.
  • Ensure all procurement documentation complies with State Government and Departmental policies.
  • Prepare and collate information for statistical and management reports.
  • Verify invoicing to contract terms and conditions.
  • Maintain filing system, manuals and office records in line with Departmental policies.
  • Serve on forums, committees and working groups as required.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience in procurement and contract management.
  • Well-developed written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to liaise, consult and negotiate with a range of stakeholders.
  • Good level of conceptual, analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and in a team environment.
  • Proven ability to plan, prioritise and organise workloads to agreed timeframes.
  • Demonstrated experience with financial processes including accounts payable.
