Lead with Purpose in Remote Education

A transformative movement is underway to make higher education more accessible, relevant, and empowering for remote learners.

As a Regional University Hub Leader, you will be the heartbeat of our community, supporting First Nations students, coordinating local learning programs, and building strong relationships with universities, training providers, and community organisations.

Your primary responsibilities include:

  • Providing leadership and day-to-day management of the Hub
  • Supporting students with enrolment, study pathways, and wellbeing
  • Collaborating with universities and training providers to deliver flexible learning
  • Building trust and engagement with internal & external stakeholders
  • Championing First Nations Peoples education & knowledge, voices, and aspirations

For this role, we are looking for individuals who possess:

  • 2+ years of experience in a similar RUSH role, mentoring and supporting educators working in remote locations
  • Highly effective interpersonal skills, including proficient written and oral communication skills
  • Strong leadership and coordination skills
  • Experience using an electronic student management system and reviewing government grants and contracts
  • A deep respect for cultural protocols and community-led decision-making
  • Passion for education, equity, and social impact
  • Ability to work independently and adapt in dynamic environments
