Key Position: Systems Engineering Lead

The Role Overview:

As a skilled and collaborative Systems Engineering Lead, you will own the development, implementation and maintenance of systems engineering, integration and testing activities across the full lifecycle of cutting-edge aerospace vehicles and their supporting elements.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Leading and supporting a multidisciplinary team of systems and test engineers.
  • Managing systems engineering activities across the full lifecycle from concept to deployment.
  • Collaborating with other Engineering Leaders to ensure alignment and successful project outcomes.
  • Improving company tools and processes for systems engineering, integration and testing activities across the lifecycle.
  • Coordinating systems engineering training initiatives for engineering team members.
  • Team management for shared systems engineering resources.
  • Creation and technical review of systems engineering artefacts.
  • Overseeing integration, testing and specialty engineering activities including reliability analysis, FMECA and root cause investigations.
  • Performing top-down systems design for new products including functional analysis, decomposition and requirements derivation.
  • Supporting design reviews at various levels.
  • Planning and conducting system integration and verification planning including in-house environmental testing.
