KPMG's Resource Management team plays a vital role in optimizing the firm's resources, ensuring efficient and effective use. As trusted business advisors, they allocate individuals to projects based on required skill sets and sector experience.

The Resource Consultant is a key member of the Sydney Audit team, responsible for driving greater efficiency in resource deployment by providing stakeholders with visibility and options of resource capacity and capabilities. They ensure optimal staffing mix on client engagements, considering leverage model factors.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Driving greater efficiency in resource deployment
  • Ensuring optimal staffing mix on client engagements
  • Managing scheduling requests and providing resourcing solutions
  • Providing analysis to senior stakeholders on resource management reporting
  • Working with the offshore data entry team to ensure data accuracy with Retain
  • Assisting the National Resource Management team to find suitable internal resources
  • Proactively following up items that may impact schedule accuracy
  • Taking ownership for educating client-facing staff on resource management practices

To be considered, your qualifications, skills, and experience could include:

  • Previous Resource Management experience or similar field (e.g., Recruitment, Workforce Planning, Operations)
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels
  • Positive and proactive attitude, working autonomously and taking responsibility for actions, outcomes, and deliverables
  • Proficiency in MS applications, particularly Outlook and Excel
  • Degree qualification or similar highly desirable

In Sydney, we estimate the salary for this position to be approximately $120,000-$150,000 per annum, depending on experience.
