As a customer-focused professional, you will lead a driven team to provide an optimal experience in a resort environment. You will be responsible for the daily operational success of the resort and interact with Club Wyndham Owners, guests, apartment owners, all resort departments, vendors, the community, and the corporate office.

Your Key Responsibilities

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A proven track record of creating personalized and memorable holiday experiences through meaningful conversations
  • Operational knowledge and experience in all hotel departments with a strong focus on rooms divisions, food and beverage as well as revenue and yield management
  • The ability to build strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders including Body Corporate
  • Proven experience in driving and achieving top-line revenue and bottom-line results
  • An eye for detail and analytical mind
  • The ability to develop a budget and make sound decisions to ensure the hotel operates efficiently
  • Strong Revenue Management skills
  • Effective leadership, organisational, and interpersonal communication skills
  • An open-door policy with the ability to train, coach, counsel, and develop employees
  • The ability to hold Resident Letting Agent licence

Club Wyndham Port Douglas offers a relaxed tropical oasis set amongst rainforest gardens surrounding a unique pocket of Melaleuca Rainforest. The resort is ideally located five minutes' walk from world-renowned Four Mile Beach and a short drive to the centre of Port Douglas.

Our competitive salary package includes a base salary of $120,000 per annum, plus performance bonuses and benefits such as discounted hotel stays and subsidised private health cover.
