About the role:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Systems Analyst to lead analysis of new functionality or investigation of complex problem solutioning. The successful candidate will have a strong background in working with Teradata EDW and SAP platforms in Government or industry equivalent.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  1. Performing analysis and evaluation of business processes and requirements.
  2. Supporting the creation and implementation of solutions to meet business needs.
  3. Supporting the creation and maintenance of solution documents.
  4. Providing support to daily operations and monitoring performance of business solutions.
  5. Delivering and supporting methodologies and contributing ideas for improvement.
  6. Performing technical applications assessments, considering risks and benefits.
  7. Conducting testing activities such as test coverage reviews, formal or informal test execution, and test planning.
  8. Collaborating with stakeholders to resolve issues, solve problems, and ensure effective and timely implementation of projects.
  9. Undertaking project quality management tasks, such as peer and quality reviews of specifications and design documents.
  10. Preparing correspondence, such as reports and technical documentation, for review by senior staff.
  11. Escalating issues as required and suggesting alternative approaches and solutions.
  12. Assisting with cost analysis activities as required.
  13. Supporting the life cycle of changes and improvements to systems.
  14. Providing training, guidance, and support for new staff where required.
  15. Exercising delegations in line with legislation and guidelines as required.

Requirements:

  • Minimum Baseline Security Clearance.
  • Demonstrated 5+ years experience in Teradata EDW + SAP platforms in Government or industry equivalent.
  • Proven experience and record of accomplishment of managing the delivery of project requirements on time and of high quality.
  • Demonstrated sound communication, negotiation, and liaison skills.
