Conservation Leader

Key Responsibilities:

• Undertake diverse field and office-based work.
• Assist the Ranger in Charge to develop and implement the annual works program.
• Coordinate and manage a small team of rangers.
• Conduct work tasks focused on fire and pest management, plant and infrastructure maintenance.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Supervisory experience.
• Ability to work collaboratively with others to plan and deliver annual work programs and projects in protected areas.
• Administrative skills.
• Experience managing human resources and budget processes.
• Highly developed communication skills.
• Confidence undertaking compliance and enforcement activities.
• Ability to establish and maintain relationships with various stakeholders.
• Experience operating and maintaining plant and equipment.
