Job Description

The communities we serve are at the heart of our operations. We deliver critical thinking, building, maintenance and sustainment behind Australia's essential public assets, facilities and community services.

Our purpose is to enable our communities to thrive. We run hospitals, manage client data centres, take asset management risk, and are a trusted advisor and partner to our Defence Forces.

This role will see you managing our key client group including a large blue-collar workforce. The job has a broad remit, with key responsibilities outlined below:

  • Provide advisory support and coaching to managers to manage employee relations and industrial relations matters.
  • Work closely with HR teams and other teams to gather project requirements and coordinate project activities.
  • Identify and engage key stakeholders, establish effective communication channels and manage stakeholder expectations throughout the project & annual cycles.
  • Ensure equitable and consistent employee relations in line with legislative requirements by supporting line managers to embrace best practice HRM techniques. Conducts and manages all engagement with employees and associated unions in line with policies and values.

Requirements

  • Tertiary Qualification in Business Management or a related discipline (desirable).
  • Experience in high volume and/or blue-collar environment.
  • Strong generalist experience, with knowledge of principles, practices & regulations.
  • Knowledge of Fair Work Act, relevant awards, enterprise agreements.
  • Experience coaching and supporting managers through HR processes. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate at all levels.
