Portfolio Management Analyst

The Portfolio Management team is responsible for implementing Dimensional's investment philosophy, ensuring client portfolios pursue targeted premiums and providing traders with buy and sell candidate lists. The analyst will support the day-to-day needs of this team by performing a series of daily tasks to ensure smooth trading processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform portfolio reconciliation and respond to corporate action events
  • Process database updates and execute ad hoc requests from Portfolio Managers, such as portfolio characteristics analysis and index rebalancing analysis
  • Complete long-term projects that identify possibilities for improvement in Dimensional's trading processes and execute those improvements to improve trading efficiency and ease
Qualifications:
  1. A strong philosophical alignment with Dimensional's investment strategy
  2. A background or strong interest in finance and financial theory
  3. Excellent quantitative problem-solving and analytic skills
  4. Solid communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal
