Job Summary:

We are seeking dedicated and compassionate individuals to join our team as Support Workers in a residential setting. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing assistance with daily living activities, promoting independence, and enhancing the quality of life for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide personal care and support with daily living activities, including meals, hygiene, and mobility
  • Assist with household tasks and maintain a safe and clean living environment
  • Encourage and support clients to participate in community activities and outings
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients, their families, and other stakeholders
  • Contribute to a team environment that promotes respect, empathy, and understanding

Requirements:

  • Victorian or NSW driver's license
  • Current Level 2 First Aid or willingness to obtain
  • Three doses of the COVID-19 vaccine (or have an exemption)
  • Strong commitment to the principles of Child Safety and maintaining a Child Safe environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting people with disabilities or complex needs
  • Understanding of positive behavior support and person-centered active support
  • Certificate III in Individual Support – Disability
