The Role
  • Rebuild and repair of Caterpillar Hydraulic Cylinders
  • Utilize and maintain workplace tools and equipment
  • Ensure quality control
  • Compile reports for internal and external viewing
  • Manage jobs and support a small team to meet daily targets
  • Perform maintenance repairs within company guidelines and cost targets
  • Provide support to the Emeco rental fleet
  • Collaborate with Emeco/Force customers to meet company objectives
Requirements
  • Unrestricted rights to work in Australia
  • Trade Qualified HD Fitters/Mechanics – Australian recognised certifications only
  • 2+ years post-trade experience preferably in rebuilding large equipment components/engines
  • Current Australian driver's licence (mandatory)
  • High Risk Work Licence - Forklift or willing to obtain
  • Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
  • Excellent time management, job recording, and communication skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
Preferred Skills
  • Experience with Caterpillar Diagnostic Systems
  • Specialised experience with heavy earth moving equipment, particularly Caterpillar
  • High Risk Work Licence - Dogging, Rigging or Gantry Crane
