Industrial Waste Manager

We seek a skilled professional to ensure the safe processing of various chemical streams at our facility.
- Provide technical support for accepting, treating, and storing liquid and hazardous waste.
- Deliver analytical support to sales teams and external customers.
- Assist operations with waste management and production activities.
- Run treatability trials, select treatment methods, and validate their suitability to ensure wastes are treated safely and profitably.
- Liaise with relevant authorities and ensure compliance with legislation and company standards.
This is an opportunity for a motivated professional who solves problems, prioritises safety and compliance, and has strong technical expertise in chemistry and waste management.
- Degree in Chemistry and experience working with hazardous chemicals within an industrial environment.
- Exposure to wastewater treatment or chemical field sampling experience.
- Strong knowledge of risk assessments and preparation of work instructions.
- Accurate record-keeping skills in regulated environments.
- Solid understanding of chemical handling legislation, including storage and disposal requirements.
