Heavy Machinery Operator

This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic production mining team as a heavy machinery operator. We are seeking a skilled and experienced individual who can efficiently operate shovels, excavators, and other heavy machinery in a safe and competent manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operating heavy machinery such as shovels and excavators to ensure maximum output and efficiency.
- Maintaining high housekeeping standards and ensuring floor levels are maintained.
- Ensuring compliance with policies and procedures at all times.
- Responding to instructions from supervisors and completing tasks promptly.
- Excavating to design boundaries of ore bodies, berms, and pit walls while minimizing dilution and achieving design parameters within acceptable tolerances.
About You:
- At least 5 years of experience as a production excavator operator in the mining industry.
- Experience operating Hitachi EX3600 and CAT6060 equipment is essential.
- Sound knowledge and understanding of ore mark ups and pit configuration.
- Skills to mine out benches and cutting batters, leaving minimal material for final trim to design of batter angle.
