We are seeking an experienced Building Estimator to join our team, focusing on supervising and estimating works, coordinating and managing trades during the construction process across the greater Perth region.

This role is ideal for individuals with experience in insurance repair work.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Assess and supervise/estimate works/projects
  2. Program and coordinate sub-contractors and suppliers
  3. Prepare detailed reports
  4. Develop repair scopes
  5. Manage projects with multiple trades
  6. Complete reports on behalf of insurance companies
  7. Build strong relationships with trades, support staff, and stakeholders
  8. Ensure WHS compliance on building sites
Requirements
  1. A trade qualification in carpentry or building or equivalent
  2. Experience in mid-tier residential and commercial construction projects ($20K-$500K)
  3. Demonstrated experience in estimating works and project management, with the ability to motivate and manage sub-contract labor and suppliers
  4. Strong report writing skills
  5. High level of organizational and time management skills
  6. Can-do attitude
  7. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  8. Ability to problem solve and think on your feet
  9. Experience in WHS
  10. Good customer service skills
  11. Superior computer literacy
