Role Overview
UMENCO is seeking a Product Development Manager to lead the creation of seasonal RTW collections for a renowned Australian brand.
This leadership role will guide the fit development process, from initial design concepts to pre-production samples, ensuring each range meets the brand's vision and creative direction.
The Product Development Manager will be accountable for ensuring all developments comply with the brand's traceability strategy and legal safety requirements, while maintaining exceptional value and quality in garment construction.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop seasonal RTW collections that align with the brand's vision and creative direction
- Guide the fit development process, from initial design concepts to pre-production samples
- Ensure all developments comply with the brand's traceability strategy and legal safety requirements
- Maintain exceptional value and quality in garment construction
- Collaborate with the wholesale and production teams to facilitate smooth handovers of new styles
Requirements
- Over five years of experience in apparel product development
- Strong background in fashion design or technical qualifications
- Exceptional communication skills, attention to detail, and a collaborative spirit
- Solid understanding of fabric construction, garment fitting, and safety requirements
