Established in Belconnen, ACT, Northside Panel and Paint is a family-owned workshop seeking an experienced qualified Panel Beater to fill a vacant position.

The role encompasses a range of tasks and duties:

  • Vehicle disassembly and reassembly
  • General repairs and rectification works
  • Removal, repair, and replacement of damaged panels following established repair procedures
  • Repair of dents on damaged vehicles using fillers
  • Filing, grinding, and sanding to restore the vehicle body to its pre-accident condition
  • Reinstallation and realignment of all parts
  • Realignment of chassis and body frames
  • Work with fibreglass
  • Opportunity for additional income through overtime

The successful candidate will possess:

  • The ability to work independently with a focus on safety and productivity, as well as collaborate with the team as needed
  • Qualifications and a minimum of 3 years of experience in panel beating, or additional experience considered in lieu of qualifications
  • A high level of attention to detail and pride in workmanship
  • Experience in panel beating a variety of vehicle brands and models
  • A solid understanding of workplace health and safety
  • A positive and motivated attitude

Salary: $70,000 - $90,000 per annum, commensurate with skills and experience.

Visa sponsorship may be considered if required.
