Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Software Quality Assurance Engineer to join our Melbourne office. The ideal candidate will be a skilled communicator and collaborator with experience working in Agile teams to deliver high-quality digital products.

The successful candidate will work closely with designers, product managers, technologists, and business analysts to ensure seamless project execution. Our projects involve websites, mobile applications, marketing, and data-focused products, supported by various technologies like CMS, CRM, Data Warehouses, CDP, Identity tools, and digital marketing tools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and execute test cases for web applications and APIs, producing detailed reports as needed.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams to deliver digital products.
  • Participate in regular Agile ceremonies, such as sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and showcases.
  • Assist in UAT sessions at key project milestones.
  • Develop strong relationships with clients, ensuring their confidence and consultation throughout projects.
  • Work closely with product and technology leads to understand project details.
  • Provide clear steps to reproduce bugs/issues discovered during projects.
  • Stay up-to-date with technical aspects, such as APIs, databases, mobile apps, to ensure thorough testing coverage.
  • Plan, prioritize, design, write, and execute test cases.
  • Contribute to test planning, strategy, management, and setting up QA processes for desktop and web applications.
  • Evaluate test coverage across functional and regression testing.
  • Maintain open communication, raise risks, and plan mitigation strategies.

Requirements

We seek a candidate with a minimum of 5+ years' experience in QA Engineering, preferably in an agency/consulting context. Essential skills include excellent communication and collaboration skills, experience with digital technologies, problem-solving abilities, and proficiency in project management and testing tools.

A competitive $120,000 - $150,000 per annum salary package is offered to attract the right candidate, reflecting the company's commitment to providing opportunities for professional growth and development.
