Your Role

As a Bakery Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for managing daily bakery operations, ensuring efficient team performance, maintaining high standards of food safety, and driving customer satisfaction.

  • Fresh food retail knowledge and skills are essential for this role.
  • You must have a solid understanding of ordering, cost control, and gross profit management.
  • Accurate team rostering and effective time management are crucial.
  • Passion and enthusiasm for hands-on work, as well as unparalleled commitment to customer service, are expected.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are necessary for liaising with team members and management.
  • A flair for merchandising and creativity in visual displays are highly valued.
  • Commitment to work health and safety standards is mandatory.
