Learning Assistant Opportunity

We are seeking highly motivated individuals to support our educational program and work with students of all primary ages.

About the Role

The Learning Assistant will work alongside classroom Teachers to provide a dynamic and engaging educational experience for our students.

The role involves:

  • Supporting and promoting our aims and objectives
  • Being committed to professional excellence and ongoing professional learning
  • Complying with our Code of Conduct and policy requirements
  • Respecting and upholding our values and ethos
  • Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
About You

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A valid ACT Working with Vulnerable People Card
  • Experience working with students of all primary ages
  • An understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework
  • Knowledge of the National Quality Standards
  • Hold or be actively working toward a Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or Education Support
  • Qualifications or experience in working with students with additional needs
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to interact with students, parents and teaching professionals
  • Well-developed organisational skills to assist in delivering effective educational programs
