Storeperson Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and hard-working individual to join our experienced warehousing team as a storeperson. This role offers an excellent chance to grow your skills and experience in a fast-paced environment.

  • Key Responsibilities:

As a storeperson, you will be responsible for assisting with all facets of receiving and dispatch of inventory, working within the warehouse to ensure safe, accurate, and efficient handling of products, ensuring reliable dispatch of orders to meet customer demands and expectations, and managing the inventory of our FEA warehouse.

Additionally, you will assist in meeting our objective of no missed shipments (KPI) and having sufficient product quantities always available. This may involve planning and coordination of local product builds, adaptation of imported products, and managing inventory levels.

As a member of our team, you will also be responsible for:

  • Receiving product from FE overseas locations and customers/local suppliers.
  • Coordinating the processing of sales order picking lists, RF bar code, and 2D scanning for packing list and freight forwarders.
  • Providing input to product movements and addressing potential problems on inventory levels.
  • Assisting warehouse staff with local product adaption, short run work orders, testing, painting, lead manufacture, product failure, warranty, repair, and service issues.
  • Managing the warehouse in a safe, tidy, and efficient manner, and addressing OHS issues.
  • Assisting with cycle counting and accurate product management.
