Network Technology Specialist

The primary responsibility of this Network Security Lead role is to oversee the implementation, maintenance and troubleshooting of LAN/WAN technologies and related networks.
Key responsibilities include configuring and maintaining routers, switches and fabric switches to ensure seamless connectivity, as well as troubleshooting network problems and outages. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of routing & switching technologies including MPLS, IPsec, VPN, BGP and OSPF.
Other key duties include working hours 8am – 5pm ACST with on-call 24x7, load balancer administration, firewall & security operations, wireless network management, infra & network monitoring, backup & disaster recovery, service management & compliance, performance optimization & troubleshooting, capacity planning & upgrades, documentation & compliance and team leadership & training.
\Required Skills & Qualifications- Expertise in Network Infrastructure: Load Balancers (F5, NetScaler, Citrix), Fabric Switches, Routers, Layer 2/3 Switches
- Backup & Recovery Experience: Veeam, Windows Backup, Veritas
- Security & Compliance: Firewall management, Splunk for threat analysis
- Knowledge of Routing Protocols: BGP, OSPF, EIGRP
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Collaboration with Security & Infrastructure Teams
- On-call Support Rotation (if required)
