About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and physically fit individual to join our Proactive Services team as a Cleaning and Trolley Collection Team Member. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and tidiness of our stores, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for our customers and colleagues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Complete daily cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and emptying bins, to maintain a high standard of cleanliness.
  • Collect trolleys from the car park and surrounding areas, ensuring they are returned to their designated bays.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to deliver specific cleaning needs across various departments.
  • Provide excellent customer service, answering questions and providing directions to customers as needed.
Requirements
  • Physical fitness is essential for this role, as it involves physically demanding tasks. The ability to comfortably handle the physical requirements of the role is crucial to ensure success and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Ability to stand for long periods and lift loads between 5-10kgs.
  • Flexibility to work in different environments, including the shop floor, fridges, freezers, and car parks.
  • Availability to work across Monday-Sunday and shifts starting from 6am or 5pm.
  • A good eye for cleanliness and attention to detail.
