Job Title:

The role of a skilled Coatings Specialist is crucial to delivering high-quality results on our projects.

 

We are seeking a talented individual with exceptional attention to detail and ability to adapt to changing conditions, technologies, and requirements.

 

About the Role:

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for performing pre-painting activities including scraping, sandpaper, and repair of cracks and holes before conducting general finishing.
  • He/She will execute pre-emptive maintenance to ensure long-lasting colors and minimize future damages.
  • The Coatings Specialist will be responsible for the maintenance of ventilation, compressed air, and personal protective equipment, and report any issues with equipment to management.
  • They will apply paints using rollers, brushes, spray guns, and finishes drywall using standard or specialized tools.
  • Responsibilities also include cleaning all equipment, including brushes and spray guns after use.
  • The individual will work at heights using scaffolding and ladders to reach high ceilings or walls.

 

Requirements:

  • A minimum of five years of experience as a painter with experience using a wide variety of indoor and outdoor paints.
  • Must be a US or Australian citizen.
  • Possess an active TS/SCI U.S. Security Clearance or AUS PV Clearance.
  • High School Diploma or GED: Required as a basic educational foundation.
  • Strong decision-making skills to resolve issues quickly and effectively under pressure.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing conditions, technologies, and requirements.

 

This position requires a strong ability to work independently and as part of a team.
