Job Title: Strategic Financial Crime Reform Specialist

The role of a Strategic Financial Crime Reform Specialist involves driving significant changes in financial crime reforms, focusing on customer-centric outcomes and innovation.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and delivering solutions to ensure traceability between regulations and requirements.
  • Collaborating with project managers, business stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to document and agree on business requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Decomposing work and articulating value, acceptance criteria to drive successful project delivery.
  • Conducting analysis, identifying and developing solutions, and producing documentation to support design concepts.
  • Documenting business processes, needs, and issues, and converting them into requirements where necessary.
  • Processing enhancement and modelling (Documentation to PACE standards).

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in change management, project management techniques, tools, and methods, including agile delivery.
  • Process Improvement Frameworks experience, particularly in banking and financial services.
  • Body of knowledge disciplines, such as BABOK, PMBOK, and QMBOK.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of structured analysis methods, tools, and techniques.
  • Proven exposure to database and application programming, including Scala, Spark, Network Graph scripting, IntelliJ, Gradle build, Power BI, SQL, Splunk, NDC/NDH, Python, R, and Power BI.
  • Experience in delivery of regulatory programs.
  • Working knowledge of the Financial Crime laws (AML/CTF & Fraud) in Australia.
