Looking for a challenging and rewarding career opportunity? We have an exciting role available for a site engineer to join our team.

About the Role

This is a full-time, permanent position in regional Queensland and NSW. As a site engineer, you will be responsible for implementing innovative construction methodologies and techniques, working closely with supervisors and the workforce to eliminate repetitive activities, and assisting the project manager with tasks delegated by the project engineer.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Implementing cost-efficient construction methods and techniques;
  • Working actively with supervisors and the workforce to improve productivity;
  • Assisting the project manager with task delegation and monitoring program progress;
  • Coordinating resource planning with superintendents and supervisors;
  • Monitoring day costs for activities and making adjustments as necessary;
  • Providing information for end-of-month project costs reports;
  • Implementing environmental controls where necessary.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

  • A civil engineering degree or equivalent qualification;
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in cost engineering and productivity on civil earthworks and complex infrastructure projects;
  • Sound technical knowledge and analytical skills;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Self-motivation and adaptability with a can-do attitude;
  • Willingness to travel and work away from home when required.
