The Role

We are seeking a bright and enthusiastic Logistics and Supply Chain individual to join our team in Minto on a full-time permanent basis. As Freight Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in the smooth and efficient coordination of all transport and supply chain procurement operations for Redox.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and negotiate with freight providers to secure optimal rates and service levels.
  • Develop and execute transportation procurement strategies to meet business needs and minimize costs.
  • Manage service agreements and operational procedures with freight providers, ensuring compliance with company expectations and legal requirements.
  • Provide expert advice on transportation-related matters, including road, rail, and alternate domestic freight inquiries.
  • Monitor delivery requirements to meet company expectations.
  • Coordinate and maintain records and files for efficient operations.
  • Address quality problems and resolve them in the best interests of the company.
About You
  • Recent graduate in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field, or two years' experience in a logistics and freight-related role.
  • Demonstrated understanding of Chain of Responsibility (CoR) and Fatigue Management.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Load Restraint and Dangerous Goods Regulatory Handling and Storage legislation.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in data analysis and report building.
  • Negotiation skills and experience in managing vendor relationships.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
