Conference and Events Coordinator

We're seeking a highly motivated and organized Conference and Events Coordinator to join our team at Travel + Leisure Co. As a key member of our events team, you will be responsible for driving sales of our conference facilities and delivering exceptional customer service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide quotations for conferences and events to drive sales and meet targets
  • Host site inspections and ensure follow-up is completed
  • Coordinate all aspects of conferences and events administration, operations, and accounting processes
  • Liaise with the Head Chef and General Manager on menus, banquets, event orders, setups, guest feedback, and service levels
  • Work with the Food and Beverage team to provide superior service levels during all conferences and events
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in conference and event sales in a hotel is preferred but not essential
  • Previous experience in food and beverage operations, including banquets, is preferred but not essential
  • Sound sales and negotiation skills
  • Exceptional communication and customer service skills with a can-do attitude
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Outlook, and previous knowledge of basic accounting processes is an advantage
  • Positive attitude and self-motivation to achieve set targets
