We are seeking a skilled Civil Laborer to join our team at Ventia, a leading infrastructure services company. As a Civil Laborer, you will be responsible for performing general labor duties, including heavy and physical manual work, various landscaping activities, and other maintenance duties as required.
Key Responsibilities- Assist a broad range of tradespersons across all areas of the project team, including civil engineers, construction managers, and other laborers.
- Perform general labor duties, including physical manual work, various landscaping activities, and other maintenance duties, such as cleaning, painting, and repairing equipment and facilities.
- Demonstrate personal behavior that upholds Ventia's values, including a commitment to safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.
- Work predominantly day shift, but may also involve some night shift, depending on the needs of the project.
- Previous experience in general civil labor or a related field, such as construction, landscaping, or maintenance.
- Hold a valid MR license or higher.
- Possess the ability to deliver work under a wide-ranging workload and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- An ability to work without supervision and to work effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.
- An understanding and commitment to Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) principles, risk management, and hazard identification.
