The Allied Health Service, Big Rivers Region (AHS-BRR) is a transdisciplinary team that values collaboration, innovation, and quality improvement. We embed ourselves in the wider community, with strong relationships with specialists and respected as familiar faces in schools, clinics, and remote communities.
Main Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat communication disorders in patients of all ages
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in consultation with patients, families, and healthcare teams
- Provide education and support to patients, families, and healthcare staff on communication strategies and techniques
- Contribute to the development and implementation of new programs and services within the AHS-BRR
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and research projects within the AHS-BRR

Katherine is a vibrant town located in the Top End of the Northern Territory, with a population of approximately 11,000 people. The region offers a range of outdoor activities and natural wonders, including Kakadu and Litchfield National Parks.
What We Offer:
A competitive salary package of $114,595 per annum, plus additional benefits.
