About the Role

The Talent Mill is seeking a highly skilled Senior Fashion Designer to join our team in Sydney. As a Senior Fashion Designer, you will play a pivotal role in contributing to the creative and strategic development of our brand's product offerings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop innovative and trend-driven fashion products that align with our brand's strategic vision and market demands.
  • Collaborate closely with the Lead Designer and Design Team to ensure the end-to-end design process is executed efficiently and effectively.
  • Work with the Head of Product to develop and strengthen our product ranges and design team.
  • Ensure our product ranges increase brand competitiveness, maximize sales, and achieve financial targets/margins while adhering to quality requirements.
  • Build strong relationships with key suppliers and sellers, and negotiate profitable business outcomes.
  • Work collaboratively with Production and Planning to ensure our product brand vision is executed in line with our strategy.

Requirements

  • Strong technical confidence and ability to communicate effectively.
  • Proven ability to affect and manage change.
  • Strong background in product design/management with the ability to multi-task and demonstrate flexibility.
  • Passionate and enthusiastic about fashion with a distinct sense of trends, design, and construction.
  • Strong foundation in PC & MAC software, visual/interface design using Adobe CS suites.
  • Highly detail-oriented, organized, and able to set standards and execute.
  • Ability to work in a team-driven atmosphere and build strong working relationships internally and externally.
