About the Role- Provide strategic leadership across planning, development assessment, economic development, tourism, engineering and compliance.
- Deliver the region's Economic Development and Tourism Strategies and guide planning reform including the Planning Scheme and LGIP.
- Drive major projects including the $100M Priors Creek Precinct and Council's asset development and divestment program.
- Lead a high-performing team culture while strengthening stakeholder confidence.
- Represent the organization with government, community, industry and regional partners.
- Senior leadership experience across planning, development, tourism, infrastructure or related fields.
- Strong commercial acumen with experience in development, divestment or joint ventures.
- Political awareness, stakeholder engagement and advocacy capability.
