The Role:

We are seeking a reliable and responsible driver to assist in the collection and distribution of donated goods and materials.

The successful candidate will be required to conduct regular safety checks on our company vehicle, ensuring it remains clean and roadworthy.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Collecting and distributing donations according to the daily schedule.
  • Conducting regular safety checks and reporting any mechanical faults or damage.
  • Removing rubbish around clothing bins safely and reporting any damages or graffiti.
  • Supporting factory operations by providing stock, clearing waste, and assisting with other duties as directed.
  • Disposing of unwanted goods at the waste depot in a timely manner.
  • Building relationships with parishes, schools, local businesses, and stakeholders to support our mission.
  • Assisting other drivers when necessary to ensure smooth operations.

About You:

  • You hold a current LR driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • You possess a current forklift license.
  • You are motivated, able to work independently and as part of a team, and physically fit to handle job requirements.
  • You have strong communication and organisational skills, enjoy meeting people, and are community-focused.
  • You have strong attention to detail, follow rules, and adhere to safety protocols.
  • You can meet deadlines and multi-task under pressure.

Compensation:

The estimated annual salary for this position is $60,000 - $80,000 AUD, based on industry standards and location.
