The OpportunityWe are seeking a skilled Heavy Commercial Fabricator / Welder to join our team at AMA Group Australia. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for shaping and restoring heavy vehicle exteriors, contributing to the future of automotive excellence.
Key Responsibilities:- Assess the vehicle's damage to determine the best course of action for repair work
- Ensure the chassis crush is properly maintained and used appropriately
- Advise the Parts Interpreter of any additional parts required not originally quoted on the estimate
- Coordinate with other workers in the workshop to ensure a smooth workflow
- Notify of any product shortages that would restrict production
- Treat company equipment with the same respect as your own tools
- Check the schedule daily to ensure time-frames are met
- Trade qualified in all aspects of Welding (Essential)
- Mechanical knowledge to assist in repair and fabrication of trailers
