**About the Role:**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to take on the challenge of leading our sales and marketing efforts. As Director of Sales and Marketing Strategies, you will be responsible for developing and implementing innovative strategies to drive revenue growth and expand our market share.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Oversight of commercial strategies to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Development and implementation of short-term and long-term sales, events, and marketing plans to achieve revenue goals.
  • Creation of Annual Multi-Year Commercial Strategy Plans in partnership with on-property leaders and regional support teams.
  • Collaboration with Commercial Leadership to establish pre-opening and Group Pricing & Rate Quotation Strategies to maximize pricing components and achieve positive market share.
  • Working with Brand e-Commerce teams to build and establish hotel B2B marketing, digital marketing, social media, public relations, and communications channels.
  • Establishment of optimal business mix, review and validation of revenue forecasts, and development of strategies for different demand periods.
  • Responsibility for departmental expense budget and forecasts.
  • Leadership and guidance of team members, including ongoing performance development and Career Development Plans.
  • Liaison with Raffles Global Sales, regional support, and brand teams.
  • Building strong relationships with CVB, community groups/influencers, and 3rd party travel partners.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of five (5) years of hotel sales, catering, or marketing experience.
  • Management experience as a Director.
  • A four-year college degree is preferred.
  • A minimum of five years of leadership experience in a full-service hotel.
  • The ability to travel on short notice and adapt to schedule changes.
  • Highly professional presentation and communication skills.
  • Proficiency with standard Microsoft Office.
  • Critical analysis skills.
