About the Role

This is a dynamic opportunity to make a significant impact on our team's capabilities by enhancing their standards and driving excellence.

We are seeking an energetic and passionate professional who can utilise creative approaches to train and inspire others. This role offers the chance to help establish our newly built Truganina Distribution Centre as a gold standard site.

As a key member of our Supply Chain team, you will play a pivotal role in elevating the skills of our SRG and Labour Hire staff. Your mission will be to design and deliver engaging training programs that consistently meet our high standards.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing innovative training solutions that address specific skill gaps.
  • Building capability through comprehensive training and assessments.
  • Providing coaching and guidance to support individual and collective performance.
  • Identifying and proactively managing skill development needs in collaboration with our DC Leadership and Learning Manager.

You will also be responsible for coordinating the training schedule and attendance of a staged inventory transition into automation. This requires strong organisational skills and the ability to effectively communicate with various stakeholders.

About You

We are looking for an individual with exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, who can build strong relationships with colleagues and foster a supportive learning environment.

The ideal candidate will have experience working within a DC/Warehouse in a high volume, multi-brand Retail or 3PL distribution/logistics environment. They should also possess a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment and have a demonstrated understanding of CoR – Current Legislation and hazard identification/incident management.

Exposure to Manufacturing Excellence, Continuous Improvement or Six Sigma (Statistical Process Control) environments is highly regarded.
