Floating Sales Consultant Job Description

We are seeking a talented sales professional to join our team as a Floating Sales Consultant. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and driving sales growth through in-store and in-home advice and service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with customers to provide expert advice and guidance on furnishing solutions
  • Measure and quote for clients' furnishing requirements
  • Manage the end-to-end process from order to installation
  • Provide high-level customer service and follow-up
  • Work closely with the store furnishings team to ensure administrative duties are completed

Requirements:

  • Selling experience background in either in-home or outside sales, preferably in specialty or custom products/services
  • Highly desirable retail environment – ideally within Home Decor/Furnishings
  • Excellent attention to detail, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
  • Self-motivated and driven by sales and results
  • Ability to work autonomously with excellent time management skills
  • Strong customer and team focus
  • Ability to build leads and develop new clients
