About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Design Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Primary Design Engineer, you will work on challenging high-voltage projects from inception to completion, maintaining strong client relationships and collaborating with experienced designers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and scope high-voltage projects, from 11kV to 330kV, across various sectors, including residential, commercial, industrial, and solar farms.
  • Manage the delivery of HV electrical projects from concept to construction, ensuring timely and within-budget completion.
  • Negotiate with supply authorities and secure necessary approvals.
  • Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including clients and supply authorities.
  • Attend client meetings and conduct site inspections to ensure project progress and quality.
Requirements
  • Degree-qualified engineer, recognized by Engineers Australia.
  • Experience in a design consultancy or similar environment.
  • Proficiency in producing substation layouts, HV cable sizing, reticulation design, and earthing layout.
  • Strong AutoCAD skills and ability to work both autonomously and within a team.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
