Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for providing financial support and solutions to our clients.

The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical skills, strong communication abilities, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare month-end reporting requirements that meet business needs.
  • Process monthly revenue and cost accruals, reconciliations where applicable, and revenue summaries.
  • Analyse business results, identifying variances to budget/forecast/trends, and provide commentary.
  • Support DSO reporting, including exceptional items, and monthly inventory snapshots focusing on stock turnover and ageing.
  • Identify opportunities to deliver value to individuals/teams within our business locations and head office, considering key productivity drivers and risk factors.
  • Provide customer service to Operations teams and guidance to administrative teams on financial matters.
  • Contribute to the financial aspect of tender (project) submissions managed by Commercial/Operational teams.
  • Support business in submitting individual capex requests (financial returns, contract rates, estimated utilisation).
  • Work with project teams to establish cost code budgets in Jobpac.
  • Undertake ad hoc tasks/projects as required.
  • Develop annual business unit budgets and maintain forecasting models through consultation with business, including quarterly reforecast.
  • Monitor capex-build spend forecasting and actuals reporting (materials and labour), working with key individuals to identify deviations from plan.
