About This Role:
We are seeking a graduate civil design engineer to join our engineering team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality engineering designs for project delivery.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of civil design principles and practices, with experience working with Civil 3D and AutoCAD software. You will also possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to work effectively as part of a team.
Responsibilities:
- Work as part of the engineering delivery team, involved in the development and refinement of bulk earthworks and related civil engineering designs
- Conduct engineering investigations, perform site inspections, and resolve issues during construction
- Prepare conceptual and basic design packages, along with relevant documentation, for earthwork, benches, pavements, and drainage system design
- Provide technical support to other members of the engineering team and project teams
- Develop and update internal and access roads, as well as earthwork models, using Civil 3D and AutoCAD
Requirements:
- Australian recognized Bachelor of Engineering (Civil)
- Ability to learn and master Civil 3D and AutoCAD
- Demonstrates strong initiative and a willingness to learn
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
- Good communication skills
- Proof of right to work in Australia
