Our Team is Seeking a Dedicated Educator

SmartPlay Early Learners is looking for an experienced educator to lead our School Aged Care program. The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing a high-quality, play-based educational experience for children.

This part-time position involves developing and implementing educational programs that cater to the needs of our students. You will work collaboratively with our team to create a safe and inclusive environment that fosters learning and growth.

The successful candidate will possess excellent communication and organisational skills, as well as experience in a lead role in a childcare setting. They will also have a strong understanding of the EYLF framework and be able to apply this knowledge in their daily work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement educational programs that meet the needs of our students
  • Provide leadership and guidance to our team members
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve shared goals
  • Maintain a safe and healthy environment for all students
  • Stay up-to-date with relevant legislation and regulations

Requirements:

  • Diploma of Early Childhood Education or 50% towards completion
  • At least 1 year's experience in a lead role in a childcare centre
  • Excellent communication, organisational and time management skills
  • Current First Aid, Anaphylaxis, CPR and Asthma certification
  • Current paid Working with Children's Check
  • Experience and knowledge of NQF, NQS and the EYLF
  • Confidence in technology use
  • Highly motivated and servant-hearted individual
